White Rose Forest - What We Do

"Growing with the Leeds city region"is our partnership strategy and will give an understanding of what we are trying to achieve.

The Partners of the White Rose Forest partnership carry out a vaste array of activities to help manage and improve our environment, attract resources and help shape policies to bring this all about.

As a partnership we are currently delivering

1) the £2million  "West Yorkshire Green Infrastructure Programme". For more details go to p26 of our strategy.

2) The "Woodfuel infrastructure Programme " in West Yorkshire. Click on Wood Energy for more details on grants

We are also working with the Leeds City Region secretariat and Natural England on the development of a green Infrastructure strategy for the Leeds city region area. This should be completed by May 2010 and will help the WRF prioritise its project investment sites and activities.
